68 teams started in the competition but, finally, after a long month of buzzer beaters and bad beats, the Final Four is here. The teams remaining: Auburn, Virginia, Michigan State, and Texas Tech. Only one 1-seed team in Virginia, MSU is a 2, TTU a 3, and Auburn a 5. The two matchups are Auburn vs. Virginia and Michigan State vs. Texas Tech.

Both of these games look to be extremely exciting.

Let’s start with the Auburn, Virginia matchup. Auburn has been one of the stories of the tournament, bringing elite guard play paired with an unmatched defensive intensity that…

It’s no secret that the game of basketball has massively changed within the last 10 years. In any game today, the large majority of points come from 3-point attempts and dunks, rather than the mid range/post-up offenses of the past.

With the stylistic change in NBA basketball, the referees have had to adapt to the new flow of the game. Prior to the Curry-era of basketball, the philosophy of officiating was more geared towards the pick up game mindset of calling your own fouls: letting the players play to create a better game progression.

Realistically, no player or fan wants…

“I honestly did not know what the future of my baseball career would look like. It was the biggest shock and learning experience I had ever encountered while playing.”

These were the words CJ Stubbs said when describing the effects of his Tommy John Surgery last year. Stubbs is from Del Mar, CA down in San Diego and attended the athletically prestigious Torrey Pines High School. He had always wanted to wear a Trojan uniform and take the field here at Dedeaux. His older brother, Garrett, played for the Trojans from 2011–2015 eventually winning a catcher of the year award…

In the Super Bowl with the least average viewers in the last decade (about 98 million), the game was utterly disappointing. No points, only a couple exciting plays, and they didn’t even play Sweet Victory during the halftime show! Needless to say, Super Bowl LIII was one of the worst super bowls in recent memory.

Coming into the game the biggest question had to be: Can Tom Brady carry his rather underwhelming roster to yet another Super Bowl victory? The answer, obviously, was yes but it really was not pretty. In his quest to secure not only his 6th Super…

In a night honoring the late, great Lakers owner Dr. Jerry Buss, his former Lakers took on the Phoenix Suns this past Sunday at the Staples Center. The Lakers were without many of their stars including LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma, and Lonzo Ball but nevertheless emerged with the victory. An unlikely name made its way to the top of the scoring charts, Ivica Zubac. Zubac scored 24 points along with a new career high in rebounds at 16 and 4 blocks to top it off. The majority of Zubac’s scoring effort occurred in the second half while Brandon Ingram carried…

Every college football players dream is to receive a phone call on draft day from a General Manager. “Hey, Insert NFL Prospect name here, just wanted to tell you we’re going to take you with our pick…Congratulations, we can’t wait to have you on our team”, or something of that manner. That call, unfortunately, does not come to many. With only 7 rounds of 32 teams, many college football players are left off rosters still striving to make it to the NFL.

Cameron Lynch was one of these undrafted rookies. From Snellville, Georgia just outside of Atlanta, Lynch played linebacker…
