When all the foods at the fest taste the same.

Have you ever been to a food festival and all the food, say BBQ, begins to taste the same? All the booths start to look just like the other booths and everything smells like everything else? I have and I for one get tired of the duplicity of it all.

I go to a bunch of food festivals and farmers markets looking for a chance to try something different, so different that it makes me smile. I recently stumbled upon something new, at least to me, in the order of festival food tastes. This unusual little booth served such a different flavor and texture of taste that I did indeed smile. I’m taking about Calituna, a new and different style of taste in food. Sort of a combination of pan-Asian and American cuisine that goes well with craft beer to lemonade leaving the palate clean and refreshed.
