Speaking of Groups

There is tension between groups. Not to diminish Black/White history, but I don’t feel qualified even to talk about the groups that I am a part of, mainly because even within a group, I believe that we are all individuals with many differences. Case in point, Hong Kong seems to have 2000 political parties.

Even among the Jews, a group that I am technically not a part of, there seem to be many groups. (see notes about the Pharisees in Wikipedia). Most of us don’t have the time or interest to investigate the groups around us, except for politicians who seem t0 have to bow down to many groups, depending on their financial contributions.

I prefer not to talk or write about other groups in any depth, even the ones that I participate in or with because their complexity is well beyond my understanding and I have a hard enough time understanding and representing myself.

As a man, I would say that the treatment of women by men is by far the greatest tragedy and challenge that we all face today and needs all the attention that we can give it, and that affects all races.
