U.S. Bank + LinkedIn + Estee Lauder showcased at Startup-driven Innovation Summit

The best and brightest innovators, entrepreneurs and investors in the world of startup-driven innovation are getting together at the Inside/Outside Innovation Summit, in Lincoln, NE, on June 19–21.

Speakers will offer startups and corporate innovators practical tools and techniques for accelerating and injecting innovation into organizations.

Three new speakers announced include a corporate fin-tech innovator, corporate sales innovator and a global external innovator.

Doug Nielson — U.S. Bank

Doug Nielson is Senior Vice President, Innovation Research and Development at U.S. Bank. Doug leads the Research & Development team which focuses on identifying and exploring new concepts, technologies and business models to generate new revenue streams and enable business line growth across the bank. His team also manages U.S. Bank’s engagement with the Fintech ecosystem.

Prior to U.S. Bank, Doug held a variety of global product strategy, development and management roles for American Express in the U.S. and Europe. During his tenure at Amex, Doug was responsible for launching numerous innovative payment solutions.

Doug has a Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University.

Ben Jackson — LinkedIn

Ben Jackson is an innovative sales leader and founder, having started several scaled organizations within LinkedIn, including their small business client success team and inside sales groups, which have been scaled globally. He currently leads a North American inside SMB sales group for LinkedIn’s largest enterprise business-Talent Solutions.

Prior to LinkedIn, Ben founded or co-founded several startups in Northern California; ranging from fitness, hospitality, and online marketing specializations.

In his spare time, he serves as the Outbound Sales adjunct professor at The Startup Collaborative in Omaha.

Neil Soni — The Estee Lauder Companies

Neil Soni has created, grown, and built new ventures both within large organizations and as an entrepreneur.

Over the past two years, he has helped start and build the Global External Innovation function at The Estee Lauder Companies (ELC). External Innovation works with startups and other innovative organizations to create and fast track win-win relationships with ELC.

Neil has previously founded two venture-backed companies and recently started Unlimited Brewing Company, the world’s first platform brewery.
