But by her lights, such an attempt would be “giving credence to ideas that are inherently horrible and not worth debating in a question-and-answer session.” So she — like most students on the left—prefers to live in an echo-chamber, hearing only those ideas with which she previously agrees, and keeping away from anything that challenges those ideas, or which might cause (God forbid) “cognitive dissonance.”
