A growing body of college graduates feel under-prepared for the workplace. As many as 79% of graduates require assistance in finding employment.

That statistic speaks to the inadequate facilitation of employment opportunities by universities; insufficient university training in employable skills; and a lack of adequate instruction in the soft skills required for seeking and retaining employment. In part, this is due to a growing demand from the emerging big data-centric marketplace. The need for specialists in AI, IoT, Blockchain, and Data Science has significantly out-paced supply.

In response to the lack of preparation for today’s emerging marketplace, our team of scientists and academics came together to create a global blockchain-based employability protocol — ECTA (Efficient Collaboration Team Autonomous). ECTA was formed specifically to help IT graduates gain experience and credibility while assisting firms in the global marketplace at sourcing qualified talent.

We facilitate opportunities in co-working, team building, and payment opportunities for the unbanked — while enabling a safe, productive, and direct relationship between developers and the organizations striving to bring ideas into production.We wish to unite undiscovered talents, educational institutions, employers who are seeking qualified candidates, and investors recognizing genuine products.

While working with ECTA, developers receive payment in ECTA PAY tokens, and also earn non-fungible ECTA SKILLS tokens that serve as proof of their skills and a record of reputation. Our blockchain protocol creates a permanent record of skills and accomplishments, which our users can leverage in exploring new opportunities with increased trust from potential employers.

Globally, there are nearly 2 billion unbanked individuals -particularly among developing nations. We wish to bridge the gap for these individuals mainly, creating opportunities for them to develop talents, reputation, and increase their employability.

We are developing AI algorithm that will learn about the needs and skills of the businesses and developers using the ECTA platform to assist in finding the best match. Thanks to ECTA PAY (fungible) tokens, unbanked developers around the world won’t struggle to collect their earnings for services provided.

Our mission is to discover talents from low-middle income countries and help to bridge the education — employment gap. ECTA AI engine recognizes and tracks individuals who have demonstrable achievements in education, volunteering, publication, workshops, etc. (see AI algorithm from www.eventregistry.org). Once the talent is discovered, they will be notified and offered to collaborate with ECTA and become fully visible to the parties in demand of their skills.

This platform is not an experiment to be built from scratch but assembled as a result of our teams dedicated work over the past 10 years. ECTA takes advantage of the experience gained and components from the products we have already created, including ARK Blockchain, Edu-CTX, and Eventregistry. Bringing together this knowledge and expertise, we integrate hard-fought lessons and technologies into a product that will bring value to many lives.

The primary purpose of our ICO is to distribute ECTA PAY tokens to the masses, and so create more opportunity for users to benefit regardless of geographical presence, language, or banking status.
