One day, I had a compilation error on my iOS project: “Error: None of the input catalogs contained a matching stickers icon set or app icon set named ‘App Icon.’” I did a Google search and found out that the error indicates that App Icon has been removed from Assets.xcassets. The easiest fix is to go Assets.xcassets and click the + > App Icons & Launch Image > New iOS App Icon.

now the compiler and xCode are Happy

Happy Coding :)

I was working with GitHub Actions to add CI/CD to my repository. I ran into the build error “error: root manifests not found.”

I did a Google search and found out that the error indicates that the Swift Package Manager has not initialized, according to Github’s issue link.

Steps to fix the repo:
1- cd to the local repository
> CD [iOSProject_location]
2- initialize swift PM
> swift package init
3- and then:
> swift package generate-xcodeproj
4- commit to master
5- create GitHub Action using swift.yml:

Everything green with no error
