Review: I’m about halfway through the book and find the concepts helpful. I’m a small business owner looking to improve my ability to do calculations on the fly to help with my financial decision making. I think this book should help.
The concepts and examples are solid, but they’re shared by someone who isn’t a natural writer. Definitely worth the $3.49 I paid, but if this were a $10 book I would expect something more polished. 5 stars at this price point based solely on the concepts, but I would give a lower rating if it cost more.

Review: It’s very good for learning how to do mental math quickly. You’ll need a good working memory if you want to be able solve longer problems in your head. You could still use this book to cram for math tests if you only want the techniques that you’ll use for writing down on a piece of paper(which isn’t really mental math but it can still help you) but if you want to be able to solve longer problems in your head, you’ll need to work for it. Overall I had no problems with it.

Review: I love the use of examples to teach the various mental math tricks. I love the idea of the LR (left to right method) it really helps me a ton to be able to visualize addition and multiplication this way. My only issue is that some methods like the ut method of multiplication were overwhelming to do mentally so not sure how practical it is for mental math. Though it helped a lot when I wrote out the problem on my notebook. I think with a lot of practice these techniques can become second-nature to me. The author ( abhishek does a good job of making these techniques seem
approachable.
