Since the first EDCON that was held in Paris in 2017, EDCON has provided a collaboration platform for industry thought leaders in the global Ethereum community. It fostered the growth and adoption of Ethereum among developers, enterprises, research institutions, students, and governments.
The well-being of the Ethereum community is the most important thing for us. As we are all well aware of the COVID-19 epidemic, we made the hard decision today to cancel EDCON 2020. The decision was difficult but necessary considering the safety and health for the host city Vienna, the venue provider WU University, as well as all the speakers and attendees.
We sincerely appreciate the support and understanding from our partners, sponsors, and the whole Ethereum Community during this extraordinary time. Rest assured that we will continue our mission in supporting Ethereum and the community. EDCON 2021 will be back better and stronger!
