Why We Acquired Managed by Q

We are thrilled to share that Eden has acquired Managed by Q, creating the market leading workplace platform for fast-growing companies!

Eden and Managed by Q serve the modern workplace team — the facilities manager, the IT manager, and the office manager — and we share the mission of empowering our customers to create a better place to work through an integrated platform of software tools and marketplace services.

We acquired Managed by Q as we believe that we can realize our mission of workplace empowerment more quickly and fully together. Managed by Q features a mission-driven team, innovative customers, diverse service vendors, and a UX-centric product. As platforms benefit greatly from scale, especially at the early growth stage, we knew that the combined business would serve our customers and service vendors even better with higher density of demand and supply, as well as more resources.

We partnered with JLL, the global real estate services firm, as our lead investor for a financing round associated with this acquisition. When we sat down for the first time with Yishai Lerner, Co-CEO of JLL Technologies, we realized that we shared a vision for how to improve service delivery and workplace experience for small and medium-sized businesses. By combining Eden’s platform with JLL’s global distribution, we could realize our shared vision faster. Other Eden investors, such as YC Continuity, will also participate in the special funding round.

To our customers, we are excited to bring you new and enhanced software products and a broader marketplace. To our thousands of service vendors, we promise to bring more opportunity, as well as critical software to help you focus on growing your business.
