A Story About Me

I was born on May 15th, 2001 in Park Ridge. I used to live by the Mount Prospect library when I was younger, but when I was about 2 I moved to a bigger house. We moved in the winter of 2002, so I wasn’t exactly 2 yet. I have lived most of my life playing various sports, but I have only stuck with 2 sports: basketball and softball. I have dedicated myself to playing these sports. Playing sports has made me realize that I want to study physical therapy in college so I can help athletes recover from their injuries.

I picked this song because it is a very inspiring song. It tells people that they don’t have to be perfect and they can just be themselves.

I was hanging out with my friends making s’mores on Friday night. After this we watched a movie.

Three people that inspire me…

My mom(middle) because she has taught me to be strong and never give up. She is very tough and hard on us because she wants us to succeed. She once told me this story about her playing softball. She slid head first into second base and the girl on the other team stepped on her hand, with metal cleats. Her hand was just gushing blood and she still continued to play, after her hand was cleaned up.

My grandma(right) because she moved to the US from Poland when she was 25 years old. She was in search of a better job and so she decided to move, it takes a lot of courage to leave your hometown and what you know best and just move on. She has inspired me to follow my dreams even if I have to go out of my comfort zone to get there.

My grandpa (left) because he was in the army. He showed me that you should fight for what you believe in. By fighting for his country he has shown me to never give up and to put all of your efforts into what you fight for.

In the future my goal is to go to Saint Louis University to study physical therapy. I hope to become a very successful physical therapy.

My first photo is a picture of different people. I know that there is still racism today but America has improved a lot since it first started. This picture shows that we now have rights to be equal instead of treating people super unfair.

My second photo is of police arresting people. America has many protests to obtain equal rights and to fight for what they believe in. This picture may seem like a bad thing but it actually is a good thing. It’s a good thing because it shows that people speak up for what they think is right.

My third photo is of Mo’ne Davis. She pitches for a baseball team. She inspires girls everywhere that they could do whatever they set their mind to. It’s so cool that she, first of all, made the team let alone pitch in an important game. This shows that she practiced a lot so that she could succeed in baseball. Another reason I picked this is that it shows that girls can play with boys. People seem to think that girls shouldn’t play sports with boys because maybe they can’t handle it, but Mo’ne proved them wrong.
