Battlefield 2042: Hazard Zone Probably Mix of Hunt: Showdown and Escape from Tarkov

DataMiner used the Technical Test of Battlefield 2042 last weekend to search for unknown info around the shooter of DICE. Here, among other things, Temporyal, which has found further details on the third mode, which the creators of DICE have not yet introduced: the Hazard Zone.

If you take a look at the found info, a mix of Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown for the Hazard Zone. In the two titles, players have to survive in an area against other participants and look for valuable resources. To keep the yield in the end, it is important to find a secure escape route.

How does the Hazard Zone in Battlefield 2042 work?

For example, the orbital card should already support the game mode in Battlefield 2042 (Buy 56.99 €). An exclusive map, which is intended exclusively for the Hazard Zone, does not seem to be. Players can collect important information in certain places or even meet at KI-controlled troops and even bossons, which then leave appropriate rewards. Collected objects are harvested in the Extraction Zone. Here a helicopter is requested to enter the player after a short time. With the Hazard Zone Currency also weapons and accessories can be purchased for the next bet.
