Battlefield 2042-Leak To gameplay shows air fights, gripping hooks and more

Since yesterday, selected players can put their own hand to Battlefield 2042 for the first time. As part of the EA PlayTesting program, registered users receive the chance to experience games in a technical test in advance. But although no recordings of the test are allowed to get to the public, dive more first pictures of the Battlefield 2042 gameplay.

Battlefield 2042 innovations in the test

What to see? On Reddit and YouTube are several videos of multiplayer struggles to see, but they should be taken out of the network over time. In these are battles on a sprawling island we could admire already in previous Leaks. So we can win a first impression of what awaits us with Battlefield 2042.

There are also some new features of the multiplayer shooter in the recordings. For example, we learn for the first time as the gripping hook works. With this, players can draw themselves on roofs in seconds, without losing time. The hook can also be used to climb a slope and thus reduce the distance to the enemy.

For the first time we also get a look at the menu with which you can modify your weapons in the fight. The menu is crucified and divided into the different modifications such as visor, ammunition and shaft. So you also keep the overview in heated battles if you want to change your weapon modifications.

Some recordings also show the spectacular air fights with the different aircraft and combat jets. The battlefield acts more dynamic than still in older battlefield parts through the air fights.

Speaking dynamic: One of the new features that are unfortunately not to be seen are the dynamic weather changes. Although gray clouds are recognizable in the background, but a storm seems to be far away.

So your EA games are testing in advance

The technical test takes place from 12 to 16 August 2021 in a time window of 3 hours each. So far, the test runs only on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, so we can not win any impression of how stable Battlefield 2042 on PS4 and Xbox One runs.

How do I participate in the PlayTesting program? If you want to get the chance yourself to test EA titles in advance, you can register in the EA PlayTesting program. However, the registration alone is no guarantee to be selected for certain titles.

Note that you must sign a secrecy agreement for gaming. If you are allowed to test games in advance, you should not take pictures, be it pictures or videos, publish.
