Great article, lots of good reasons for the benefits of using time-boxed sprints. I’d suggest one more that underpins the Scrum approach and is very helpful, and that is obtaining feedback from stakeholders on a regular cadence. The feedback on the product increment enables the team to adapt their plans (reflected in the product backlog) and course correct on a regular basis. I see many teams suffer and go off track because they skip sprint reviews or only pay them lip service.
