How to kill innovationSeattle voted to limit any one ‘ap-enabled’ company to 150 cars on the road at one time. They are doing this in order to ‘give time’ for the taxi companies to respond. It is blatant protectionism. It is as if the government limited Netflix to one DVD per person for a year while they gave time for Blockbuster to catch up. In a tech city like Seattle it is particularly disgraceful and a reason more people should vote in local elections to kick people like this out of office.Edward Nevraumont3 min read
