A list of Marketing Services Companies I am Approaching for discounts for an MBA Class I am teaching at the University of Washington, Foster School


This is just a list of vendors I am approached to ask for discounts for the MBA students. I would love other suggestions. If you have any send me a tweet @ednever . If you are a service provider yourself and want to give a discount/free service for a limited time to 45 students who will soon be graduating, even better. Please let me know.

  • MailChimp — Not possible due to too many users. 15% discount for NGOs
  • AWeber (said no)

Web hosting/Domain names/Landing Pages:

  • 1and1 — “Not be able to help, but please fill out our survey”
  • WPEngine — $600/month for an Enterprise hosting for all the students
  • Shopify — “Look around the internet, there are 30% discounts everywhere, but nothing for students”
  • Unbounce
  • Optimizely — No.

Tools:

  • ManageFlitter
  • TribeBoost (Said Yes)
  • FollowerFrenzy
  • BufferApp
  • HubSpot
  • MOZ — Only for 401ks. “Can find 90 day trials on Daily Deal Sites”
  • MajesticSEO
  • LinkedIn
  • eLance/oDesk — Spoke with a very nice woman who is going to see if she can make something work, but challenging as they are just a marketplace
  • SpyFu
  • Compete — No.
  • (I was not able to find a way to contact Fiverr)

Paid Traffic:

  • Google SEM
  • Facebook Ads
  • StumbleUpon — “No discounting”
  • OutBrain
  • Taboola
