Hi Ram, of course you can! I don’t have BotFramework code to share at the moment, but it should be easy to implement. WeChat has a pretty common XML/JSON API and every modern language/framework work with APIs.
You just have to keep in mind these fundamental concepts:
- When your bot backend endpoint is invoked by WeChat, always return a synchronous response within the 5 seconds timeout.
- You can send a response message using the synchronous response, or if you need more than 5 seconds to process the message and provide an answer, send an empty string in the synchronous response and use the asynchronous messages service described in “part #2” to send the response message.
