Finals — Introduction to Physical Computing

After coming up with the idea and some production planning, it was about time to prototype the interactive LED Disco Ball that I’ll present as my final project in Physical Computing . My goal on the first week of production was the LED ring that will circle the mirror ball. Although my schedule was designed with some arbitrary assumptions (as I simply don’t know how long each task will take), I can say I’m on time with the plan.
The LED wiring took some unexpected time with settings like the right Power Supply to use, and the adition of a Capacitor, and other simple things that turn out to be time consuming when you’re doing them for the first time. Besides the fabrication, I was expecting to be more advanced on the code that controls the colors of the LED. For instance I’m still using a generic code offered by the carrier.
