InnerTrends we’re already using a conversational style to report data. We’re a SaaS-oriented analytics tool and we help companies optimize their onboarding process. Our user tests showed that using a conversational style makes it a lot easier for people to understand our reports, but relying solely on having a conversational style isn’t enough. Conversation plays a huge role in helping us bridge the gap between someone who isn’t a data scientist, and the advanced statistics that goes behind our reports.

At the end of the day, they’re using our app to understand how to improve their onboarding process. Having a friendly conversation with their screen doesn’t help much unless the product delivers insights.
