I’ve been planning on writing a grand post that would perfectly describe the Internet of Things, but I realized that my quest for perfection has stopped me from actually producing content for this blog. Thanks to a conversation I had with a friend last night I realized that I was letting great become the enemy of the good enough.

So, without further adieu, here’s a video of a talk I gave last summer where I tried to introduce the topic of the Internet of Things to a general audience. It isn’t perfect on any level, but it’s good enough for now. I hope you enjoy it.
