Dear White People, Boycotting Netflix Won’t Make You Any Whiter Than You Already Are
Ezinne Ukoha

As a white male whose been around a good number of decades, with two degrees in history and a broad curiosity, I am proud to be a subscriber to Netflix and their openness to creative voices. I’m also well-aware that white privilege is obvious once you recognize it and look for it. It can be intentional, but more often isn’t. Being unintentional, however, is only an excuse until you’re aware of it. After that, the only moral response is to ensure that equality for all — regardless of race or ethnicity or gender — is a personal priority…every day.
