“ Feelings don’t work for policy, but they work when we deal with each other in the real world.”
Feelings, combined with facts, data and information, do indeed work for policy. That’s the failing of conservatives in general. They don’t do the feelings and they don’t do the facts and data. Listen to moderates and “liberals” discuss information and facts in analyzing issues and potential resolutions. Listen to conservatives assert ideological principles but leave out data and information. And feelings. They don’t solve problems because of this, and won’t let moderates do so either. Responsible governance is about the real world regardless of race, gender or ethnicity.
