Aye Yo, Pass Me the Aux!

Well, these days you don’t need aux in the car if it takes USB or SD memory. But then again, one also doesn’t get the experience that the aux brought either. So technology gives and takes away as it changes.

Apple is not a company I admire to begin with, and I find iPhones underwhelming for numerous reasons, so I wasn’t surprised when once again they chose for their customers what they would have rather than making sure what customers really preferred. No jack is obtuse and simply adds another layer of barrier to having it your way…which Apple thinks they know more about than you do.

A friend said, they have an adapter to use your earphones/headphones with the Bluetooth. I said, another kludge from Apple that costs money and complicates what should be simple. Just like non-standard charging ports. There are far better ways to listen to audio than using an iPhone. If you aren’t using FiiO portables and accessories, you’re really missing out on how it’s done right. My extensive and expensive in-ear monitors are welcomed as is. The aux definitely lives on when you know where to look.

Thanks for the nice piece. I haven’t been 24 in a very long time, but I still feel like I am.
