Starting with community

Technology is transforming the world around us at a very fast pace. In the age of Artificial Intelligence, it feels easier than ever to build or to become just another statistic. How might we, on the other hand, build products and services that are meaningful to our communities?

It starts with connection. As Gary Chou would say, we ought to think of ourselves as explorers rather than founders. After all, how could we build truly valuable solutions for communities we do not understand? While it might seem obvious, founders can get so consumed with features, product and team that they often lose track of who they are building for –communities and people.
