What is CBSE board?

Central Board of Secondary Education is a national board of education, managed by the government of India. Public or private schools can implement this curriculum. This syllabus is based on the NCERT books. The syllabus and the book list remains the same for all the schools across the country.

What is the State Board?

Each state has their own state board of education which is managed and overlooked by that state only. The syllabus, book list, holiday list, and all other policies of the schools under the state board are decided according to that board particularly.

Compared to state boards’ syllabus, CBSE syllabus and books are more aligned with various competitive exams of the country, such as JEE, NEET, UPSC, SSC etc. This gives an edge to the CBSE board students.

When you go through the comparative study between both the boards, you can very clearly see that for competitive exams, better international compatibility, the CBSE board is the best. Wherein, one should definitely know and have very clear knowledge of his/her mother tongue. If you study in a CBSE school, chances are there that your mother tongue will not be developed that well.   • Understand the exam pattern and frequency of examination
