METAVERSE

In today’s world, most people spend 80% of their time on their phones and the remaining percent on their daily tasks. It is expected that the next generation will spend even much more than that. Therefore, Metaverse offers a complete new interactive nature to internet. It opens up a whole new industry for innovation.

Metaverse is quite more about time than place or virtual reality. It has many sub sections and forms like gaming but it structure is about an individual’s digital identity.

An example is Sandbox, a marketplace in the Metaverse where buying and selling of NFTs can occur.

Decentraland: This is an online Metaverse where lands can be owned, built on and even the customizing of Avatars can take place. It has a wide map with 100k plots, originally sold in 2017 with a land floor now of 1.2ETH.

People buy virtual lands worth millions and create an online identity inside the Metaverse. In no time, people might wear VR headsets, attend meetings from home and buy more lands, play more games etc.

. A large part of NFT projects are promising to be compatible in Metaverses, or better yet creating their own Metaverse.

Metaverse is one virtual place and time where people are roaming with their digital identities.

The art made carries more weight than the shoes they wear.
