I suppose I am an older programmer started programming in 1961 at age 27 after being senior manager with Shell in Venezuela. I was regarded as being crazy to ask to be assigned to Management Services who ran the computers. I met my first computer at 18 in 1952 and fell in love but could not get my hands on one until asked to evaluate the three computer models which were used to run the company. These were installed by consultants and nobody was left who understood them but me. POP position of power.

Coming to Paul. I consider him a lucky guy but deservedly so. To sell a shop window programmed in Lisp to Yahoo for $50 million was a great deal. Then to set up the incubator and take a piece of the action was superb. I have told him that he is a serial tweeter. He has that in common with Trump.

I think Wendy is making a mountain out of a molehill. Anyway she is too old to have heroes and the all heroes have feet of clay in my experience.
