This Might be a Reason You Haven’t Done What You Want in Life
Todd Brison

I think that I had my black moment when my wife of 50 years had a heart attack and said a last goodbye to our son on the phone. Normally I feel in control but then I didn’t. I wanted to be downstairs to stop the ambulance and upstairs at my wife’s bedside. A neighbor who saw my face watching the ambulance depart told my wife later if you had seen his face you would never doubt his love.

My wife recovered and has a very potent weapon. Whenever I get very angry she says “you have a short memory” which stops me in my tracks.
