Be honest with you, if the founder can avoid all the deal breakers(red flags), the founder don’t need VC to invest into the business, because the founder ether already become business saint or the product or service can be sold without any promotion, in this situation, the founder and investor will never get along with each other because the expectation is so high for each other.

The relationship between founder and VC is most like our human dating, the only difference is the outcome, one to form a partnership to get best out of our personal life, the other to form partnership to get best out of business result, both relationship don’t expect other party is flawless but rather accept other party as whole and be compliment each other to achieve the common desired outcome…
