All That Glitters: Rooster360 4/22/16 Update incl: $HPY $EDU $AMZN $NPTN $WBMD $BRKR $ATO $NEM $DLR
A quick “top 10” list update for the Rooster360 longs and sells for the week ended 4/22/16.
Of NOTE: last week precious metals miners popped onto the list in force and already just a week later two miners are on the list in the “top 10 longs”. After five years of not really paying attention to things like silver I suddenly am again. Everything old is new again, pariahs re-emerge as paragons and paragons descend into pariah-status. Speaking of pariahs, SunEdison $SUNEQ now, finally filed and so that marks its exit from the Rooster360 list after being listed as a “sell/short” on 9/18/2015 when the list began — that has been a long bumpy drop of basically 98+%.

Again, like last week, I won’t bother too much with the “SELL”. We are currently in a short-squeeze, bottom-forming, value-seeking environment for so much that was sold off in the past 12+ months. And it looks like that raw materials are in a comeback for now. The sell ideas here go back almost 6+ MONTHS and have generated about 40+% “returns” (actually more if you are set up for options trades on a plain vanilla basis, which depending on the portfolio size could actually take up less of your account to be put at risk but I’ll get into that with private email list readers occasionally).
GOLD and precious metals have risen something like 65% from prices of just 3, 4 months ago but the slow frequency, weekly price perspective of this site has finally caught on. Perhaps faster, shorter-term day traders will be selling to hands like mine and they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank. We’ll see.
