Wind does have a place in any energy strategy.

The future of energy production should not be based on the wishes of a peanut gallery who can’t tell fission reactors from hydrogen bombs. The energy produced be fusion would be no more uncontainable than the energy produced any other way. And it would produce far less hazardous waste than fission reactors, which already are a far better power source than coal, solar, or wind. People’s information on the matter mostly comes from vague memories of Chernobyl and the Simpsons, though. And too many politicians learn from solar and wind interests, acting as donors.
