I embrace the introvert inside me
Daria Krauzo

The greatest insights for me from Cain’s book was the evolution of our culture of personality and the rise of the extrovert to the top.

My experience in the corporate world saw a lot of loud confident voices rising into positions of authority with little substance.

Her book also reinforced the idea that we introverts can learn how to play a different role when needed — then return to our solitude to recharge.

I had been doing that for years — and thought I was the only one.
