What if these highly aesthetic, wildly branded fashion show experiences aren’t a symbol of ‘hyper media consumption’ but rather a symbol of a generation that prefers experiences over artifacts?
For those who witness these shows, the memory will outlast and be much less likely to degrade than the knock off version of the garment that will beat the original to market.
Plus, the designer must crave the control of the experience since they are no longer able to control the product.
