The Bolt and the Leaf (only referring to 1st gen at this moment) are not in the same category as Tesla’s Model 3. Obviously just my own opinion but even at the current depreciation of an older Model S, a used one at around $35,000 is still a much better buy than any “new” Chevy and Nissan. Competent competition has always been around but it was up to them to get off their butts and it took Elon for them to realize. Until we see a more luxurious offering by BMW, Mercedes or Porsche at their own current manufacturing and demand rates, Tesla will remain at top the electric vehicles podium.
