slow,

low winds

warm and beckoning

stirring the summer air and this,

this tiny dancing spark

seems created

within the glow left by sunlight.

hypnotic,

entrancing,

it floats and dips, delicately

above the sea of green, touching

tongue to petal,

tongue

to petal,

fluttering drunkenly

across meadows overflowing

with the diaphanous shimmering

of every living gem ever

dreamed.
