QA is not boring.

Quality assurance is exactly what it sounds like… ensuring a product’s quality is high enough to meet basic standards. But, what are the basic standards? Should we set them, or should we make something that meets the standards of the people we serve? Does everyone even want the same thing?

Rather than having QA continue as a mundane, paper laden task, we are choosing to celebrate the process, assuring satisfaction by previewing each individual batch made. We are beginning to use QA as a way to publicly assert the value we are creating.

How good can it get? That has yet to be determined. AgStandard is an agile food company, small enough to do what we think is important, and big enough for it to matter, eventually.
