Mozilla’s latest versions of its browser removed the http:// and https:// protocols from the location (address) bar. I like to have these shown, no particular reason other than I find it comforting seeing the full URL.

Type “about:config” into the location bar, agree to the warning and search for “trim”. Toggle the following preference to FALSE:
