Very insightful article. I do agree with portions of your views. My concern is licensing and frustrations that come with it. For one, I’ve seen the inability of highly educated individuals wanting to share their knowledge by teaching or tutoring yet the Illinois licensing structure doesn’t lend itself to reward the motivated. Yes, I understand the need to create parameters, but we must create environments and opportunities for skilled residents to utilize those skills in various facets and areas. A bureaucratic environment simply stifles growth (in different ways). Keep the insightful comments coming!
