Sure, not disagreeing here. Definitely try to figure out how much value you get from organizing things… and starting later usually is more difficult and has more friction.

The statement is more of: When you know you will have less than 30k loc, it doesn’t really matter which of the “good” organizations you take, there won’t be a big difference in the end-result… no point in arguing over the “right approach”, since you probably won’t gain any benefits from properly analysing it.

If you know that your project is going to be larger than 30k, then definitely start early.
