The Science in the System: Fluent Design and Light

Cool. Can’t wait for this particular, very “sound” design language element to become obsolete and never talked about ever again.
Remember how Metro told us about focusing on content and not chrome? Back then a “light effect” was just a part of the obsolete skeuomorphism-based design and was discarded.
Since you guys don’t evolve design philosophy — or the products- but rather just throw them out and start from scratch as if what you kept preaching never existed, I’ll be deciding how to design my UIs based on what I see fit.
You lost credibility with design languages and also with many of your products.
