#In_Person_Drop

In person drop is a great opportunity for me to enhance my skills and come over my comfort zone and practice some kind of extra mile activity. To avail this opportunity, me and my friend SOHAIB Khan went to about three different companies. Although all of these companies and organizations are not according to our field but we just focus on the thing which we have to improve. i.e. in person drop, coming out of my comfort zone, practicing the elevator pitch. The experience was just awesome. We practice all the things for which we have to focus on.

Firstly, me and my friend went to Orient Energy pvt. Ltd. Unfortunately, it was the break time and we are not allowed to visit their organization too. Next, we went to another company named Soneri Gas it was also the break time too there. And we have to wait about 3 hours as there was some kind of function in the company. So, we decided to visit another company.

The third time we went to Sapphire Home Textile. They warm welcome us when they came to know that we are here for practice and enhance our skills. So, the head of guard call the HR assistant and explain why we are here. After waiting about 47 minutes we met the HR assistant and perform all the activities. And after that we ask some questions to him i.e.

1- How you judge the person that he is real or not?

2- What are main skills you want from the interviewer?

3- Did you appreciate cover letter?

4- What about the thank you email?

At the end, he gave us some suggestions and we thank him a lot for his time and asked for his contact information. He happily gave us his phone number and said that whenever you needed the help from my side, you are most welcome.

I learned many things from this experience like, from the recruiter we came to know how we have to dress like, what the interview panel mainly focus on (your eye contact), your soft skills matter a lot however their main focus is on the person’s technical skills. For this time, I was not dress up like a pro, but for the next time I will dress like a pro, I was also weak in my elevator pitch, I am working on it and Insha’Allah I will overcome on it and will do much better.
