I find value in Setup / Teardown.

Tests don’t have to live in the same file. You can split them up and make files with a small number of tests.

A good value for Setup / Teardown comes from cleaning up and resetting everything to the initial state every test should have. If you have more than that in there, then I don’t think you’re doing it right.
