People who say “If you don’t build your dream someone will hire you to help build theirs.” earn their living by saying it. I’ve been self-EMPLOYED for over 30 years. The employee-for-someone-else life was not for me, but I don’t see myself as an “entrepreneur.” I’m an employee who happens to work for me. I was miserable making someone else rich, as they say, but that doesn’t mean I needed to go out and start my own multi-billion dollar empire.

I’m thrilled to see the start of a turnaround on the idea that everyone has to be some sort of Founder — whatever the eff that means.
