Life In A Drawer

I clothe myself with things
I needed to be alright.
There are days when I can’t find
Something to make me feel light.

I make mess out of clothes
Trying to find a good keep.
I leave a cluttered drawer
That makes me feel a bit bleak.

I got surprised one day
To see neatly folded clothes.
Sometimes I need someone to
Free me of the heavy load.

I know my mum did it.
Sometimes, it is God I see
Cause life is in a drawer
Where I point my view to Thee.
