Changing the platforms

This game has three different types of platforms, and you can change any or all of them!

  1. Find or make the image you want to use. For finding images, try this image library’s platforms folder. For making your own, try Piskel — but make a small square image, not a rectangle shape. When you’ve got your image, save it onto your computer.
If you can’t figure out how to save your image, ask for help!
  2. In your Construct project, double-click on a platform of the type you want to change. There are three: solid, jumpthrough, and moving platforms!

3. That will bring up the Animations editor:

4. Click the Load image button:

5. Click the X to close the Animations editor.

If your image tiles (repeats) in a way you don’t like, double-click the background again. Then click the resize button, and change both the height and width to 16:

Be sure to test your game with the new platforms! Then go back and try something else.
