Changing the size of the level

Changing the height or width of the level (or both!) is easy. Check it out!

A screen in a Construct project is called a layout. The template has just one: Layout 1. Here’s how to make changes to it:

1. In the Project Bar on the right, click Layout 1.

2. In the Properties Bar on the right, you’ll see settings for the layout. You can change the name and/or size:

Pro tip: to make it even easier to get the size you want, click the small triangle so it will show you which number is height and which number is width!

If you change the size of your layout, you’ll probably need to resize the background:

Be sure to test your level’s new size! Then go back and try something else.
