On Merging

I merge to allow for maximum flow.

I merge in a way that does not provide a huge advantage for others, but that also does not necessitate a battle on my part in order to merge.

I merge in a way that is kind to the person who lets me in.

I merge respectfully.

So I ask this: why do you, dear driver who was in the “ending” lane with me, believe that I should merge behind you as you merge early?
