‘The In’s & Outs of a healthy Lifestyle’

Living a healthy lifestyle mentally and physically can be done in many unique ways. It encompasses many different practices especially for various individuals. Anywhere between being a college student to an administrative faculty member, it can be challenging. On top of researching the ways to living a healthy lifestyle, one must incorporate time into their lives to practice these methods of maintaining a healthy life mentally and physically as well as sometimes money and of course, a whole lot of effort.
Of the numerous ways to live a healthy lifestyle physically, there are unique practices that are common to the workout regime. Ranging anywhere from yoga to palettes to weight lifting, exercising regularly is a key way to get your body in top shape. Maintaining this top shape is what a lot of people have trouble with. Administration and students alike, stated by Bupa Occupational Health Limited, “are likely to feel happier, calmer, have an improved self-image and a better sense of wellbeing if you’re physically active. Exercise can also help you get a better night’s sleep” (Bupa).

A better night’s sleep in this case can lead to a better mental state of health as well. Whether it is through praying, meditating, self-care routines, or resting, etc. living a lifestyle where one focuses on your mental health as much as one would for their physical health, is equally as important. “Good mental health helps you enjoy life and cope with problems. It offers a feeling of well-being and inner strength. Just as you take care of your body by eating right and exercising, you can do things to protect your mental health. In fact, eating right and exercising can help maintain good mental health” (Womens Health).

Great ways to promote a healthy lifestyle vary from individual to individual. Along with the practices of spiritual health, emotional health, social health, and many others, living a healthy lifestyle can be challenging but, in return very, rewarding.
