I’m sorry if my post makes it seem as though I’m doing anyone any favors.

There is mutual benefit to hiring obviously, and my only job as the interviewer is to find and vet the person who is the best fit to join me and my teammates.

That being said, there is a reasonable time limit for any task. And speaking in person with a final interview candidate for several hours seems to be a reasonable amount of time, IMHO.

That being said, I do, do my damn job. Well in IM(not so)HO.
