I had the privilege of attending #voguecodes in Sydney recently, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. Although I had attended the event last year, I couldn’t have anticipated the remarkable experience that awaited me this time. Despite enduring long coffee queues, I found myself completely engrossed and inspired by the event’s remarkable fusion of fashion, technology, and innovation.
The theme for this year’s Vogue Codes Summit was “Change for Good,” which served as a catalyst for exploring the profound societal impact that technology can bring. It encouraged us to delve into the transformative potential technology holds and its ability to create positive change in our world.

Witnessing the incredible potential of technology to drive positive change left me in a state of awe.
It’s worth noting that Optus was strongly represented at the event, with an enthusiastic presence and genuine excitement for all things Vogue Codes. It seemed like everywhere you turned, there was someone from Optus passionate about the event and its significance.

Furthermore, the talks emphasized the urgency of tackling ongoing challenges such as insufficient research funding, the exorbitant cost of prosthetics, and the imperative to transition from a sickcare system to a healthcare system.
As I reflect on my experience at Vogue Codes Sydney 2023, I am filled with both inspiration and gratitude. This event not only celebrated the transformative power of Change For Good, but also recognized and honored the remarkable women driving these innovations. Vogue Codes was more than just an immersive exploration of the intersection of innovation, inclusivity, and style — it was a unique space where individuals from diverse backgrounds could come together and learn from one another.
